We LOVE our UPS driver and so does Polly! She goes crazy when she hears the UPS truck approach and rushes down to be at the door when Jimmy stops by to either bring us packages or pick them up. Here is a photo of Jimmy picking up Owl Stools of all varieties and desks going out to our fabulous customers. He is never overwhelmed with the amount of boxes we have for him…(job security?). His happy gregarious personality is a bright spot in the day! Thanks Jimmy!
Since the difficulty of the holiday season, amidst the pandemic, is over we are putting our noses to the grindstone and playing catch up on Owl Stools. We have shipped this amount several times to get Owl Stools to their new homes. For years we have tried to get ahead of the game and have some inventory built up so the wait time is not so long but it seems that we are never able to get there. When we mention the wait time and apologize to customers they say “it’s a good problem to have” to be busy. Yes, but we hate to have our customers wait so long. Once again it will be a goal to work toward.
We are looking forward to another busy year and hopefully a healthier and safer one as well. We do miss going to shows and seeing customers and other artists but the day will return. Until then we are enjoying life in Maine and staying busy at the Owl Furniture headquarters.
